Spanning 120 square kilometres, the Eckerö card is one of the largest continuous fishing license areas in Åland. The Eckerö card offers good fishing waters, where fish stocks include salmon, salmon trout, perch and pike.
The owners of the Eckerö card area water rights use the income to replenish fish stocks and for other conservation work.
